“SUNNY HOUSE”: comfortable and sunny semi-detached house.
“SUNNY HOUSE” is a beautiful two-story semi-detached house, in Urbanization “Dyamante” in “El Mojón”, El Pilar de la Horadada. It has beaches, shopping centers, a sports center and many other services nearby. House is perfectly equipped with all the comforts.
On three of its facades the house is surrounded by a paved patio that allows you to enjoy the outdoors for most of the year, seeking the most convenient orientation at any time. The main orientation is south, and that area of the patio is wider, and with a very pleasant porch for having breakfast and lunch even during the winter months. On the porch there is a dining table and chairs for 6 people.
On the side of the patio there is space to park a vehicle.
The main door of the house leads to a spacious living-dining room, distributed in two rooms. The living area has two comfortable sofas with capacity for 5 people, and a small table in the middle.
On the other side is the dining table, which is extendable, suitable for 6 people.
On this floor there is a bedroom with a 135 x 190 cm bed, wardrobe and window to north and a bathroom with sink, shower and WC.
Between the bedroom and the bathroom is the kitchen, equipped with a ceramic hob, oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, extractor hood, coffee maker, toaster, and kettle (ketel). A door leads to the laundry room, where the washing machine and dishwasher are.
On the first floor, which is reached by stairs with 16 steps, are the other two bedrooms and the second bathroom.
The main bedroom has a 150x200 cm bed, air conditioning unit with heat pump, and a large built-in wardrobe. Sliding doors give access to a small private terrace facing south where the sun shines nearly whole day.
The second bedroom has two 90x190 cm beds, a built-in wardrobe, and also has hot and cold air conditioning.
Between both of the bedrooms is the bathroom, with a window, which has a bathtub, sink, bidet and toilet.

LOCATION
El Mojón is a coastal town in the Mediterranean. It owes its name to the fact that it is located on the “mojón” (boundary stone) that limits the Valencian Community and the Region of Murcia. In fact, part of the small town is in the province of Alicante, and another part in the province of Murcia.
Within a walking distance from the house there are 3 fine sandy beaches:
• Playa del Mojón (700 m): it is a semi-urban beach 465 m lenght and an average width of 50 m. It has all the services. Accessible for people with reduced mobility. Blue Flag since 2016.
• Playa de las Higuericas (800 m): with a dune origin, it is a beach almost 1 km long and about 35 m wide. Easily accessible for people with reduced mobility. Also distinguished with the Blue Flag for years.
• Torre Derribada Beach (950 m): located in the surroundings of the Parque Regional de las Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro del Pinatar, it has a length of more than 2,200 m and an average width of 30 m. It has wooden walkways to access it.
NEARBY ATTRACTIONS
• Bike lane: a few meters from the house there is a bike lane that connects with many routes in the surrounding area. In addition, the surroundings of El Mojón are flat so, even without being very trained, you can find beautiful cycling routes.
• Parque Regional de las Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro del Pinatar: the northern part of this Park is just over a kilometer from “Sunny House”. There you can go on hiking or cycling routes, and it is a gorgeous place for bird watching.
• Parque Natural de las Lagunas de La Mata y Torrevieja (25 km away): a protected natural space of more than 3,700 hectares. Its main differentiating feature is its two salty lagoons, Laguna de Torrevieja (pink) and Laguna de La Mata (green).
• Cartagena (40 km): city of Carthaginian origin with more than 2,500 years of existence. It has monumental testimonies of its splendid past in each of its streets and squares, its greatest exponent being the Roman Theater.
• Diving in Cabo de Palos-Islas Hormigas, in Cartagena (50 km away): its seabed is rich in biodiversity. It was recognized as a marine reserve in 1995, and covers an area of almost 19 sq km, where you will find Posidonia meadows and coralline bottoms of a rocky nature, among which live groupers, breams or large groups of “barracudas”. and other species.

OWNER
Manuela lives in Hellín. She first came to El Mojón more than 15 years ago and immediately fell in love with the area. Although her hometown is far, she came to “Sunny House” frequently. She keeps many memories of this house, because here she saw her children grow up.
Now that her children are older and she can't come as much, she has decided to share the house with people who also want to discover these wonderful lands.
