The neighborhood where “Casa Máxima” is located is called “Garden City”. It is a quiet neighborhood, very well stocked with shops, supermarkets, restaurants, … very close to the beach and very well connected to the city center and the City of Arts and Sciences.
It should be noted that in addition to the nearby supermarkets (Mercadona, Lidl), the Cabañal Market is on the other side of Avenida Serrería, 5 minutes away on foot. This market is one of the first in the city of Valencia: you can buy all kind of food with a great quality / price ratio and iI would like to point out the freshness of the fish.
You can go down to the beach (15 minutes walk) along the Calle Mediterraneo or along the street Just Villa: the latter is semi-pedestrian and has shops, bars and a very good churreria-horchatería.
In the same building where the apartment is located, on Pedro de Valencia St, there is a take-away house, which can be useful on lazy days.
The “Garden of Ayora” next to the metro stop “Ayora”, 10 minutes walk from Casa Máxima, is very nice to take a walk and for children to play in the playground.
Located just to the north of Valencia’s Port, Malvarrosa beach offers guests nearly 3 kilometers of clean white sand and crystal blue waters. The surrounding area was historically occupied by fishermen and it is currently home to a number of modern developments, offering guests a wide choice of restaurants and cafes. Valencia itself is a vibrant city full of history and culture, from the classic architecture and lively marketplace in the Cathedral quarter to the narrow streets of El Carmen or the ultra-modern City of the Arts and Sciences.
