Pilar was an excellent host - very responsive and helpful. The apartment was large and well equipped. We really enjoyed watching the sunrise from the small balcony but use of the balcony was limited by the smell of cigarette smoke from other balconies and the street and cafe below. The beach area is popular and noisy on the weekends. Lots of good local food options. Great public transportation access - about 40 minutes to the airport by metro and tram. Very close to the beach.
