Canet - Entrenaranjos

“ENTRE NARANJOS” It is an apartment decorated in a cozy and functional way, with all the comforts. It is located next to Canet beach.

At the entrance is the dining room, which has a round table and 6 chairs. A sofa for 2 people and convertible into a sofa bed. It is open to the kitchen, equipped with everything you need: oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, washing machine, extractor hood, coffee maker, kettle (kettel) and an electric water heater for hot water. It has direct access to the terrace that is passed through the dining room as well.

There is a bathroom opposite with a spacious shower, sink, WC and bidet.

The room has a large, new and large-capacity closet. And two 90cm beds.

In the apartment there is a hairdryer, beach towels, iron and ironing board. The living room has an air conditioning unit with a heat pump. And there is a ceiling fan in both the living room and the bedroom.

It has a garage space. It is rotated every 2 years and the one that is assigned is noted on a list in the hall of the building.

“ENTRE NARANJOS” it is in front of Canet’s beach.

1.250 meters of coast by 80 meters of width compose the beach of Canet. It is one of the most spectacular beaches of the Valencian Community. On the one hand, its sand is fine and soft and on the other, through its crystal clear waters you can see the bottom of the sea clearly. Also, the entire beach is bordered by a large promenade that you can walk from one end to the other.

On the beach there are volleyball nets and also small football goals and thus be able to practice outdoor sports.

It has health post and rescue on the beach, 2 watchtowers, surveillance boats, ambulance, medical dispensary and pharmacy. Also with a place of shade and wooden modules with WC, changing room and shower so that visitors or tourists who have physical or mental disability and want to spend a nice day can take a bath with the amphibious chair or sunbathe accompanied all the time of our workers.

On the other hand, the promenade is accompanied by the beautiful dunes of the beach that result in a spectacular design. In addition, during the walk the visitor can enjoy many amenities and services such as the tourist information office, restaurants, sports facilities, playgrounds, parking and a charming market that opens weekly in the summer months. Nor can we forget the Marina with the different sports activities it offers: kayaking, dinghy sailing, windsurfing, and more.

During the weekends of July and August you can enjoy theatrical performances and music concerts in the beach promenade square, organized by the City Council.

The beach of Canet d'en Berenguer has year after year the "Blue Flag" award, as well as the implementation of the UNE-EN ISO 9001 Quality standards, UNE-EN ISO 14001 Environment, UNE 170001 Accessibility , Q of Tourist Quality.

Canet is 10 minutes by car from the Canet’s town.

The artistic-architectural heritage is:

- The Parish Church of San Pedro (18th century).

- The Palace of the Saavedra (s.XIX).

- The lighthouse built in 1904, 30 meters high and with a range of 25 miles, whose main feature is that it is located 300 meters inland. Formerly (XVI century) it was a watchtower whose mission was to alert of the presence of corsair ships to the coastal populations.

- Ethnological Museum (installed in an old country house).

In September the patron saint celebrations are celebrated in commemoration to the Virgin against the Fevers, patroness of the municipality. Various acts take place, such as dances, festivals, horseback riding, the wreath offering to the Virgin, processions, the entrance of cows, embolados bulls, etc.

Near Canet is Sagunto, where you can visit its Arab castle, Roman theater (1st century) or the archaeological sites of the Via del Pórtico and Casa dels Peixos.

Canet is north of Valencia, 30 min (33.0 km) by V-21. And south of Castellón de la Plana, there are 43 km away.

To arrive by plane, the nearest airport to Canet is Manises (Valencia), about 35 min (38.4 km) by AP-7. Another important airport is Castellón located 50 min (73.8 km) by CV-10.

- La Vall d’Uixó, 16 km from Canet d’En Berenguer.

The Grottos of San José (longest navigable underground river in Europe). A place you can not miss. Ideal to visit children and adults.

- Gilet, 8.9 km from Canet d'En Berenguer.

Monastery of Sant Sperit. Founded in the year 1404 by Na Maria de Luna, it is currently a convent of the order of the Franciscans.

- Sierra Calderona Natural Park, at 58 min (41.0 km) by CV-310 and A-23.

 It is one of the most emblematic protected areas of the whole Valencian Community. Its ecological diversity and the importance of the species presence give it a great natural value that is worth visiting and knowing.

At the summit, called Garbí, there is a fantastic viewpoint from where you can observe the animals and flora of the Natural Park.

There are several hiking trails, bird watching and picnic areas.

OWNERS

MªJosé and her two siblings are the owners of this beautiful apartment. They currently reside in Valencia and have spent many summers in Canet.

They are very fond of it and take care of it and maintain it with care. They have decided to share it with people from all over the world who want to enjoy the excellence of Canet.
