“Apartamento PAZ” is a cozy and functionally decorated apartment with all the comforts. It is located in the fishermen's area, next to the port. Nearby there are restaurants and bars, places of cultural interest and the beach of Las Marinas, located less than 1 kilometer away, 5 minutes walk.

It has a large entrance and the hall joins the living-dining room.

To the left of the hall, we find a room with a double bed (1.35 cm) and a table to work. Opposite a smaller one with bunk beds (beds for children).

Next to the living room there is another room with a double bed (1.50 x 2.00).

The kitchen is gas. It has an oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, washing machine, extractor hood, coffee maker and toaster. It has direct access to the bathroom with a bathtub, sink and toilet. Here you will find the electric water heater.

From the entrance you can see the back where the fantastic terrace is located, facing north-west, so it is fantastic for use in all seasons of the year. It is accessed from the living-dining room, with two large glass doors that open onto the terrace.

The terrace is very spacious, measuring 25m2, and has outdoor furniture:

there is a table with a sofa and armchairs, with capacity for 6 people. It has a huge parasol to protect against excessive sun in summer.

There is a bicycle for guests to use. And an open gallery where the washing machine is located.

The apartment has an iron and ironing board. It has WIFI. It has an air conditioning unit with a heat pump in the living room.

“PAZ Apartment” is in the port area of ​​Denia.

The Port of Denia has become one of the most important on the Levante coast. Its shape is defined by two large protective breakwaters which, together with the coastline, form a semi-triangle with NE access protected by the breakwater, which allows safe access even in bad weather.

It has excellent facilities for both sports mooring and for megayachts; a brand new fishing boat opposite the main dock with a market, warehouses, net drying racks, and its activity is marked by intense and frequent commercial and passenger traffic with the islands.

There are walking areas, with trees, a bicycle lane and shaded areas.

Recently created, the Marina El Portet promenade is where the leisure offer of the port of Dénia is concentrated, which includes bars, restaurants, cafes, pubs, discos and nautical tourism companies.

The Dénia maritime station, managed by Baleària, is the departure and arrival point for ships and passengers bound for the Balearic Islands. The shipping company offers numerous possibilities for travelling to Ibiza and Formentera from the city of Dénia.

With its growth, the port of Dénia has also become a new nightlife area in the city, which in summer is a reference point for nightclubs and discos that also offer incredible views of the city's seafront.

Activities on Les Marines beach

It is located to the northwest of the port, and has an extension of almost 3 kilometres. It has fine sand.

Denia is located south of Oliva and north of Jávea (11 km away).

The commercial life of the city takes place around Calle Marqués de Campo and the other adjacent streets.

Dénia is very involved with its sea, due to the important fishing activity, whose most significant product is the famous red shrimp, for its marinas, among the largest in the province, and for its shipping industry, with the presence of a maritime transport company, which makes the journey to the Balearic Islands.

Another of its most characteristic elements is the Sierra del Montgó, a Natural Park, which separates the limits between Dénia and Jávea and extends to form Cabo San Antonio.

The monuments of Dénia, its cultural activities and its museums, make up a rich cultural offer of a high level. Among its festivals, the "Festa Major" in July stands out, with the "Bous a la mar" (declared a Festival of National Tourist Interest), and the "Desfile de Carrozas" (declared a Festival of National Tourist Interest) as well as the "Fallas" in March and "Moros y Cristianos" in August.

Denia is 86 km from Alicante and 100 km from Valencia, and is therefore an easily accessible destination.

To arrive by plane, the nearest airport to El Vergel, Denia, is Manises (Valencia), located 98 km away. And the Altet airport (Alicante), is also very close, about 100 km away.

Dénia has about 20 km of coastline, where its beaches stand out: To the north, the area of ​​Las Marinas with the beaches Punta del Raset, Les Marines, Les Bovetes, Els Molins, L'Almadrava (with a pebble area) and les Deveses. On the south coast, the Las Rotas area with the sandy Marineta Cassiana beach and the rocky coves of Les Rotes, of great beauty, such as El Trampolí, La Punta Negra, Les Arenetes and La Cala.

All the beaches and coves of Denia stand out for the excellent quality of their waters. Most of them fly the Blue Flag, which is a recognition of the level of quality and excellence of the conservation and services provided on the Denia coast: lifeguards and surveillance, hammock service, waste collection, access for the disabled and some with parks for small children.

Among the main places of interest, it is worth mentioning:

• The castle. It houses the Archaeological Museum, where you can see Roman artefacts found in the area. The Toy Museum is a journey through the city's toy legacy, while the Ethnological Museum, located in a 19th century terraced house, contains works that narrate local life. Nearby are the Baroque church of the Assumption and the porticoed town hall.

• Parc Natural del Montgó. This park can be visited calmly and with a pleasant walk, it does not require great effort, its views and landscapes are excellent, both the views towards the interior, as well as the views when you reach the sea side. You can also see a variety of types of birds, highly recommended.

• The fish market in Denia. Today, it is something that is not easy to get as, generally, it is forbidden to tourists but it is a matter of trying.

The fish arrives directly from the sea around 5 pm and then: the auction begins, it is surprising and fascinating!
