"MONTEVIDA" is a duplex located on the fourth floor of a residential complex next to the Virgen de La Arrixaca General University Hospital, in El Palmar district. It has a privileged position: in an environment surrounded by nature, it has all the necessary facilities nearby, and it is 7 km to Murcia city center, and 3 km to El Valle Natural Park. Also within half an hour by car there are beaches of both the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean Sea.

 
The entrance to the apartment leads to a spacious and bright living room with two sofas that fit 5 people, a 55 inches TV, and a table with four chairs for meals. It has a large window facing southeast, and a glassed double door that connects to a terrace/gallery.

The kitchen is functional and open to the lounge. It is fully equipped: ceramic hob, extractor hood, oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, coffee maker, toaster, and kettle (ketel). It has enough crockery, cutlery and utensils. It also has an osmosis device for water filtering.

From the kitchen there is access to a gallery where the washing machine, the dryer and the aerothermal system are located. The house has both central heating and air conditioning.

This floor has two bedrooms:

The first has a 190 x 150 cm bed, a large built-in wardrobe with a dressing area, and an en-suite bathroom with a large shower, sink and WC. It has a wide window.

The second one has two 90 x 190 cm beds, a built-in wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. The window has the same views as the other bedroom.

On the upper floor (accessed by stairs with 18 steps) there is a third bedroom with a 135 x 190 cm bed, and also has an en-suite bathroom.

This floor also has a magnificent 28 m2 terrace, with its own furniture and a corridor that crosses to the rear façade, with which you can enjoy a beautiful 360º views.

On the terrace there is a barbecue and the necessary elements to use it comfortably without having to go up and down from the kitchen (refrigerator, sink, etc.).

There is a hairdryer, iron and ironing board.

There is WIFI of unlimited use and 600 MB speed.

The apartment has a garaje space. This parking space is not included in the price.

LOCATION

"Montevida" is 7 km from Murcia city center, in an environment surrounded by nature, in the foothills of the El Valle y Carrascoy Natural Park, a small mountain range that borders the city to the south.

With a population of around 450,000 inhabitants, Murcia is the seventh city in Spain. Due to its size, it has the most advanced facilities of large cities, but at the same time it is very friendly to visit. It is easy to walk around, and it maintains a welcoming atmosphere. It is common to see how its inhabitants greet each other on the street and they take advantage of the occasion to enter into a bar and drink a coffee or a beer. In Murcia there is a very good quality of life.

It is interesting to visit the Islamic and medieval archaeological remains of the city, its museums (Salzillo, Cathedral, etc.), Baroque churches, etc.

And to have “tapas” in its many bars and restaurants. Due to the mildness of its climate (except in the summer months when it is hotter) life is done on the street, and “tapas” is something very typical of the city.

Ask the host for good bares of tapas.

The El Valle y Carrascoy Natural Park offers a multitude of hiking and mountain biking routes. Less than half an hour by car you can do routes in Sierra Espuña, with peaks over 1500 m.

30-50 minutes driving there are beaches of the Mar Menor (such as Santiago de La Ribera) or the Mediterranean Sea, which in Murcia is known as the “Mayor” Sea (La Torre de La Horadada, or Orihuela-Costa north of the Mar Menor, Cala Reona or Calblanque to the south).
