“VISTABELLA”: apartment in a charming neighborhood.

VISTABELLA” is a four-bedroom apartment fully refurbished in 2023 and located on the ground floor of a building in the neighbourhood of the same name.

Vistabella neighbourhood was built in the 1940s in the outskirts of the city, but currently it is just 1km walk from the historic centre of Murcia, and maintains the family atmosphere typical of traditional neighbourhoods.

The entrance to the house leads to a spacious living-dining room with an integrated kitchen, although it is distributed in three different rooms.

The living-room area has a sofa where 4 people can sit comfortably. A stool under the television can be used as a side table.

The dining area has a dining table - with 4 chairs - attached to one of the walls, with a breakfast shelf area. Separating the table increases its capacity to 6 people.

In the third room is the kitchen, with a large window that provides natural light to the entire area. It is equipped with a ceramic hob, oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, extractor hood, coffee maker, toaster, and kettle.

From this large space you can access all the other rooms.

There is only 1.5m of hallway, and a small wall that isolates the entrance door to the apartment from the kitchen, and partially from the rest of the living room.

The four bedrooms have windows that ventilate to the street.

The first one has a 90x200 cm bed, nightstand, working table and chair, wardrobe and a chest of drawers. It has a door and a window to a large and bright patio.

The second has a 90x200 cm bed, nightstand and a wardrobe.

The third also has a 90x200 cm bed, nightstand, working table and chair, and a closet with two sliding doors.

The fourth bedroom has a space of 20 sqm. It faces two streets, with a window on each of them. The bed is 150x200 cm and also has a work table and chair, and a closet.

Between the second and third bedrooms are the two bathrooms. Each one of them is equipped with a large and easily accessible shower with screen, sink and toilet, and air heating equipment. In addition, a hair dryer is available.

LOCATION


The apartment is located in the Vistabella neighbourhood of Murcia, conceived as a garden city in the late 1940s for former soldiers and widows of the Spanish Civil War. But in recent years it has undergone a deep transformation. Behind the facades of low houses and buildings that do not exceed three or four floors, in which the traditional aesthetics have been preserved, are hidden renovated homes that are an exponent of the most cutting-edge work of architects and interior designers.

In Vistabella there is an interesting mix of residents: old families who always are there since the beginning, and the new generations who have arrived attracted by its quality of life, its urban planning, which is very collected, the trees, the serenity, the activities that are organized, … The Vistabella Neighborhood Association is very active and gives a lot of life to the neighborhood. It is the oldest one recorded in the city of Murcia.



NEARBY ATTRACTIONS


• Street market: every Thursday, a market with more than 600 stalls is set up in the surrounding streets. It is the largest and most popular in Murcia Region. Fruits and vegetables from the surrounding garden, but also clothing, footwear, home, etc.
It is allowed to bargain with sellers.

Murcia city center: Cathedral, Royal Casino, Salzillo Museum, Plaza de las Flores, Episcopal Palace, Teatro Romea, medieval streets of Trapería and Platería, etc.

El Valle and Carrascoy Regional Park (9 km).

Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro del Pinatar Regional Park (50 km): Here you can do hiking or cycling routes, and it is a perfect place for bird watching.

• Cartagena (50 km): city of Carthaginian origin, founded more than 2,500 years ago. It has monumental testimonies of its splendid past in each of its corners and in each of its streets and squares, its greatest exponent being the Roman Theater.

• Diving in Cabo de Palos-Islas Hormigas, in Cartagena (70 km): its seabed is rich in biodiversity. Recognized as a marine reserve in 1995, this space covers an area of almost 19 km2, along which we will find Posidonia meadows and coralline bottoms of a rocky nature, among which live groupers, dentexes, gilthead breams and large groups of barracudas. and other species.

Sierra Espuña (45 km): hiking and BTT.

Caravaca de la Cruz (80 km): Castle-Sanctuary of Vera Cruz, Festival of the Wine Horses.

OWNER


Tana always had a special affection for the Vistabella neighborhood. She loves its streets and the people in it. It is close to the city center center, but with a slower and more familiar lifestyle.

Although she now lives with her family in another area of Murcia, a few years ago she had the opportunity to buy this apartment and she did not hesitate, thinking that perhaps this would be the perfect place to live her retirement.

But while that moment arrives, she has decided to share it with people from all over the world who want to get to know this wonderful city and neighborhood.
