The villa is in a great location, 15-20 minutes walk from the metro and right on the beach. There's a consum supermarket round the corner with all sorts of supplies and great meat and fish counters. A few doors down is a very good restaurant specialising in paella, just make sure you book at least a day in advance, there's an open kitchen that you can go in while the paella is bubbling away. The villa itself has a large front room where you can escape when it's too hot and the pool is well maintained and refreshing when the sun is out. The villa is probably better set up for larger groups rather than 4 adults and one baby as we were, we didn't need to use the hostel style top floor. The owner and his son were very friendly and helpful, the only real criticism of the property was a lack of some basic equipment such as decent sized drinking glasses, chopping knives etc and the villa could really do with a booklet explaining how the kitchen equipment works, things to do in the local area etc. Also both bathrooms got very hot when the shower was on due to no extractor fans. Overall though it's a great base to access the beach and central Valencia from, probably best for larger groups to split the cost though
